How a Palapa Aruba booking works
A Palapa Aruba booking gets you one premium beach umbrella and two reclining chairs. The set already stands on the sand. So we deliver nothing to your hotel, and you carry nothing yourself.
You pick the beach. Then you pick your dates. After that, we hold the set in your name.
Your set is yours from 10 AM to 4 PM
The set stays yours for the whole day, not for an hour or two.
Therefore you can swim, walk the beach, drive off for lunch, and come back. Your umbrella and your two chairs still stand there. Nobody else takes them while you are gone.
Hours run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Aruba time, on every day you book.
What a Palapa Aruba booking costs
One set costs $100 per day plus 16% tax.
Above all, we add no delivery charge. The sets already stand on the beach, so we drive nothing out to you.
Multi-day stays work the same way. In other words, you book the days you want and a set waits for you each morning.
When you pay
Book 48 hours or more ahead and you pay online right away. We confirm your set the moment the payment goes through.
Book inside 48 hours and you pay nothing yet. First we check the beach for that date. Then we email your secure booking link.
Cancellations and refunds
All sales are final. We do not give refunds.
Once you have paid, that set comes off the beach for your date. As a result, nobody else can book it, whether you arrive or not.
Weather is the one exception. If the beach becomes unusable and we cannot set you up, we move your booking to another day or refund you.
Otherwise, plans do change. Message us if yours do, and we will tell you what is possible.
Where Palapa Aruba sets up
You choose Eagle Beach or Palm Beach. Your location stays fixed for that booking. Meanwhile the calendar shows which dates are still open at each one.
Both beaches sit on the west coast, and the island tourism board lists them among Aruba’s best.
Looking after the equipment
The umbrella and the chairs stay the property of Palapa Aruba. Meanwhile they sit in your care for the day.
We may charge replacement cost for lost, stolen or damaged items. In addition, we may ask to see photo ID.
